Loch Ness, Scotland's best known loch due to the legend of the monster said to inhabit its depths, lies 33 miles from the hotel. The principal towns of the Highlands, Inverness and Fort William are 30 and 50 miles away respectively. Fort William is very nearby Ben Nevis, the United Kingdom's tallest mountain available to hikers, which has a tourist path to the summit. Inverness Airport is 40 miles from the hotel. Taxis are available from the airport.
